Newtown, Monroe Chambers Host Networking Event

The Newtown and Monroe Chambers of Commerce will present a joint Business After Hours event Thursday, March 27, at Proud Mary’s at the Inn at Newtown at 19 Main Street, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.

The co-chamber meeting is an opportunity to network in a casual and social environment with business leaders from neighboring towns. Both chambers encourage members and those looking to join either chamber to participate.

Founded in 1966, the Monroe Chamber of Commerce has more than 200 members and represents a wide variety of businesses from single proprietors to manufacturing companies with hundreds of employees. It holds regular meetings every month for networking and to provide interesting speaker presentations for its members.
