State Honors Dr Grossman

State Rep Julia Wasserman presented Rotarian Bob Grossman with a letter from Gov John Rowland honoring the recently retired Newtown physician for his 43 years of service as a surgeon in the Danbury area.

The presentation took place at a recent meeting of the Newtown Rotary.

Dr Grossman’s “outstanding service and dedication, as well as the quality of his work, certainly reflect the highest standards of professionalism,” the award said.

Dr Grossman joined Newtown Rotary when he opened his practice. In February he also celebrated his 43rd year of service with Newtown Rotary.
