Special Needs Adoption Program

NORWALK –– The Family & Children’s Agency, Inc, is holding an informational meeting on special needs adoptions and the legal risks at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, March 18, at the agency’s 9 Mott Avenue office.

The agency is looking for families to adopt Connecticut children through a special program funded by the Department of Children and Families. Especially needed are families willing to adopt older children (ages 5 and up), sibling groups, and children with physical, intellectual, and/or emotional challenges. There are also younger children available who are not yet legally free for adoption but may be at a later time.
