The plot concerns eight-year-old Tina Denmark, who will stop at nothing, not even murder, to get the coveted role in her school play. After the homicidal tyke is sentenced to the Daisy Clover School for Psychopathic Ingenues, her Donna-Reed-style mother discovers her own innate talent and becomes a ruthless Broadway star, only to be confronted two years later by the newly freed Tina.

Auditions for the role of Tina will be on Saturday, March 18, from 11 am to 6 pm. The 8-year-old will be cast preferably with a girl age ten to early teens.

The script also requires six women, ages 20 to 60-plus, and one man to play the female role of an aging Broadway diva. Auditions for adults are Saturday, March 25, from 11 am to 5 pm, and Monday, March 27, from 7 to 10 pm.

Actors should be prepared with a song that shows their vocal range. Dancing ability is helpful.

All auditions will be at Sherman Playhouse, Routes 37 and 39, behind Sherman Firehouse.
