NHS Eighth Grade Student/Parent Orientation Coming Up

On Wednesday, March 18 at 7 pm, in the Newtown High School Auditorium, there will be an eighth grade student/parent orientation for all eighth grade students and their parents planning to attend the high school in the fall. This evening is an overview of the NHS program presented by the NHS administration and the department chairs. Student-led tours will begin at 6 pm in the main lobby. A snow date has been scheduled for Thursday, March 19.

For students who have not attended Newtown Middle School but who plan on attending NHS, Friday, March 13, at 9 am, the NHS Guidance Department will be hosting a meeting for parents whose children are now attending private schools and plan on attending the high school in the fall. The meeting will be in the Choral Room and will consist of a short presentation and time for questions. Registration information will also be distributed.

The event on Wednesday, March 18, is open to all students who plan to attend NHS.
