Mr & Mrs Jeremy Kowcheris

Former Newtown resident Courtney Ann Waters married Jeremy Henry Kowcheris on October 17, 2008, at The Riverview in Simsbury. Kevin Gouveia officiated the ceremony, which was followed with a reception at the same location.

Courtney is the daughter of Calvin and Celeste Waters of Bethel. She was given into marriage by her father.

Kellie June and Amy Lyddy shared the honor of serving as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Amy Waters, the bride’s sister-in-law; Anlise Donofrio, sister of the groom; Livia Donofrio, the groom’s niece; and Jaime Espinosa, Meghan Walstatter, and Jodie Ruccio.

Jeremy is the son of James Kowcheris of Waterbury and Patricia Kowcheris of Naugatuck.

His best men were Jamie Kowcheris and Josh Ruccio. Ushers were Christopher Waters, brother of the bride; Mark Donofrio, brother-in-law of the groom; and Fran Lawlor, Dave Roberts, Ben Schwartz, and Jay Segetti.

Sarah Waters, the bride’s niece, was the flower girl, and Nate Donofrio, the groom’s nephew, was ring bearer.

Courtney is a graduate of Newtown High School and also of Central Connecticut State University. She is employed as an account manager for RMI Direct Marketing.

Jeremy graduated from Naugatuck High School and Central Connecticut State University, and is employed by Naugatuck Glass Company.

Following a honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas, the Kowcherises returned to their home in Middlebury.
