Jump-Starting Kindness
Jump-Starting Kindness
To the Editor:
A wonderful thing happened at Dickinson Park this Saturday: my car battery went dead.
Okay, that wasnât great, but after seeing our hood propped up, a gentleman asked if we needed help. He didnât have jumper cables, but without a word, he left the park and came back with a set â having gone home to pick them up. He saved us from waiting who-knows-how-long for the AAA service truck. I didnât catch his name at the time, but I hope he reads this and knows how much we appreciated the gesture. What a wonderful lesson in kindness for his young son (I assume) who was playing basketball with him. Thanks again for your help!
