Do You Know A ‘Business Hall Of Fame’ Candidate?

WEST HARTFORD - The Connecticut Business Hall Of Fame is now accepting nominations of Connecticut companies and business leaders through March 20 for induction into the Connecticut Business Hall of Fame “Class of 2008.”

Nomination information can be found online, via the Connecticut Business Hall Of Fame Web site, at www.ctbhof.com.  Company and business leader nominations are divided into seven categories which include:

* Company With 1-10 Employees;

* Company With 11-100 Employees;

* Company With 100 or More Employees;

* Business Leader At 1-10 Employee Company;

* Business Leader At 11-100 Employee Company;

* Business Leader At 100 or more Employee Company;

* Nonprofit Company/Organization.

The cost to nominate a company or business leader is $45 per nomination.

General qualifications for individuals include 15 or more years as business professional, accomplished leadership role, exceptional community and civic involvement and a unique success story to tell. The qualifications for companies include operations for 10 or more years, community involvement and a proven record as an industry leader.

Selected by an awards committee established by the Connecticut Business Hall Of Fame, the winners will be honored at the Connecticut Business Hall Of Fame’s third annual Induction Awards ceremony which is set for Friday, April 3 from 7:30 - 9:30 am at the Connecticut Laborers’ Council Offices, 475 Ledyard Street in Hartford.

No RSVP is necessary to attend the annual awards ceremony.  There is no admission charge. 

Light breakfast items and beverages will be served.  The event is sponsored by the Dennis PR Group, RP Web Design Services, Barter Business Unlimited and All Music Productions.
