Yolanda J. Altieri

Yolanda J. Altieri, 76, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Leonard Altieri, Sr, died March 12 in St Vincent Medical Center following a long illness.

She was the mother of Louis Altieri and Leonard Altieri, Jr, of Newtown.

Born in Abruzzi, Italy, on November 22, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Agatha (Ciotta) Epifano. Mrs Altieri immigrated to the United States in 1928 and was a homemaker and Trumbull resident for 45 years.

She is also survived by her daughters, Paula Bachman of Huntington and Michele Dellolio of Shelton; sisters, Hazel Altieri of Trumbull and Anne Franzino of Monroe; and nine grandchildren.

Funeral services took place from the Spadaccino Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, March 14. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St Catherine of Siena Church, 200 Shelton Road, Trumbull. Interment was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
