Barbara Richardson: âI have to drive to New York twice a week, so Iâm keeping my old Honda going, which gets 40 miles per gallon.
Andrew Portnoy: âMy parents pay for my gas, so it doesnât really affect me. My parents arenât doing anything differently. I mean, you have to get to work, right?â
Elise Brady-Moe: âItâs certainly annoying that we know OPEC controls the price [of gas], and they can do something about it. I travel a lot, so I realize that it is affecting my life. But we really shouldnât complain [about gas prices] in the US, given what other countries spend.â
Nick Piperis: âIâm retired, so I canât do anything. I gotta go where I gotta go. I still have to visit my grandchildren. Iâm looking for a new car, so Iâm looking for a midsize car thatâs economical.â
Carley B Andrews: âIâm not liking the increases in price, but I havenât changed my driving habits, yet. If it goes up another 10 cents I might have to just start driving for necessity.â
Jennifer Engel: âI have a house heated by gas, so that hurts. Last summer, I drove every weekend, so this summer I might not drive every weekend.â
