Parker Rodbell

Rodbell is a freshman forward on the Newtown High School hockey team which won its first state playoff game this week.

Favorite part about playing hockey: “Hitting, scoring, passing — winning.”

Toughest aspect: The time spent to prepare for game action.

When he’s not on the ice: Plays lacrosse.

Lucky number: 23. “But Ted Benoit has it,” Rodbell said of his sophomore teammate. Rodbell wears 2.

Team he roots for: New Jersey Devils.
