Newtown Player Helps Chase Win

Newtown’s Taylor Brady helped the Waterbury-based Chase Collegiate School’s girls’ basketball team win the Class C New England Basketball Title on March 7.

Chase defeated Tilton School (NH)  67-61 in overtime at Noble Greenough School in Dedham, Mass, for the Highlanders’ 16th New England Preparatory School Athletic Conference championship.

Brady hit two momentum-changing 3-pointers and finished the game with eight points.
