Bestselling author Abby Stokes will be at C.H. Booth Library on Thursday, April 9, to help “digital immigrants” understand the fast-changing world of technology. For those Baby Boomers (and beyond) not born with a keyboard or mouse in their hand, Ms Stokes will provide comprehensive and jargon-free information with a reassuring and friendly approach.

Topics to be covered in “Is This Thing On?” will include whether to buy a tablet or a computer; sticking with the PC or move to Mac; how to maximize searches; why use social media, and more.

The event will be held in meeting room of the library, 25 Main Street. It will begin at 1 pm. Registration is not required.
