Thomas J. Ruddy, 58, died February 24, at his home in Newtown. He was born in La Chapelle-Saint-Mesmin, France, October 25, 1955, and was a resident of Newtown since 1957. He was a graduate of Newtown High School, Class of 1973.

Mr Ruddy was the son of Eugenie Ruddy of Cape Coral, Fla. (formerly of Newtown), and the late James A. Ruddy. 

He was a self-employed computer consultant.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters Marianne Jones of Fort Myers, Fla., Patricia Warner of Guilford, and Elizabeth Scalzo of Cape Coral; several nieces, a nephew, and two great-nephews.

Cremation memorial service will take place Friday, March 21, from 4 to 7 pm at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown.
