Recent Promotions
Newtown Savings Bank recently promoted the following employees:
Bob Capobianco to vice president-credit. Mr Capobianco is a founding member of the bankâs credit department, which was established in 2003, and now manages the department. He serves as secretary of several loan committees and is a graduate of Central Connecticut University.Â
Doug Hensal to vice president-retail banking. Mr Hensal joined the bank in 2007 as electronic banking manager and now oversees the sales management function of all retail branches. He is a graduate of Indiana University, the Connecticut School of Finance & Management, and the National School of Banking.
Pat Kelley to vice president-commercial lending. Mr Kelly began his commercial lending career at the bank in 2007 and was Salesperson of the Year in 2008. He holds a finance degree from Canisius College and recently graduated with honors from the National School of Banking.
Tom DâAgostino to assistant vice president-facilities and purchasing. Mr DâAgostino manages the facilities department and has been with the bank since 2001. He is a licensed master electrician and contractor, and manages all aspects of facilities maintenance, improvement, and expansion projects.
