College Scholarship

Applications Available

SOUTHBURY — The Foundation, Jewish Communities of Western CT, Inc, announces 2011 College Scholarship applications are now being accepted, with a deadline of April 15.

Awards are between $500 and $3,000. Foundation scholarships are made possible by The William Finkelstein, MD College Scholarship Fund for Jewish undergraduate students in financial need residing in the Waterbury area; the Shobhna Shukla and Matthew Ginsburg College Scholarship Fund for post-high school students in financial need to attend any technical school, college. or university or graduate or postgraduate program, without regard to race or religion; and the Alan and Janet Hertzmark College Scholarship Fund for Jewish students with a strong academic record residing anywhere in the state.
