Senator Hwang To Host Wednesday Evening Info Forum On Local Zoning Authorities/Affordable Housing Land Use Appeal Legislation
State Senator Tony Hwang will moderate an info forum regarding local zoning authorities and affordable housing land use appeal legislation in the Connecticut General Assembly impacting communities, Wednesday evening, March 10, from 7 to 8:15 pm.
The purpose of this informational forum is to educate and raise awareness of existing and proposed statutory language impacting local land use and zoning and explain the application and interpretation of CT General Statute (CGS) 8-2 (Local Zoning Authorities) and (CGS 8-30g (Affordable Housing Land Use Appeal); Update current proposed statute changes in CT General Assembly to land use and zoning in the Planning and Development Committee and share how to have your voice be heard at the public hearing, March 15, on these important proposals impacting your community.
