Donna Ramey New Executive VP & COO At Savings Bank Of Danbury
DANBURY â Savings Bank of Danbury has appointed Newtown resident Donna M. Ramey its new executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Ms Ramey joined Savings Bank of Danbury as its executive vice president and chief lending officer in 2003. With a banking career spanning over 38 years, Ms Ramey brings a wealth of professional banking leadership and experience to her new role. In addition, Ms Ramey will continue to serve as the bankâs CRA Officer.

Her many community service activities have brought credit to herself and the bank,â said President and CEO Hal Wibling.
A valued community leader, Ms Ramey has served as chairman of the board of directors of the United Way, president of the board of Regional Hospice of Western Connecticut, and is a member of the board of directors of the Danbury Health Systems and Rotary Club of Danbury.
Additionally, Ms Ramey serves on the board of directors for the Housing Development Fund, is an advisory board member of the Catholic Family Services Ways to Work Family Loan Program, and a member of the United Wayâs Housing Opportunity Community Impact Team, Financial Women International, Connecticut Mortgage Bankers Association, and the Bankers Compliance Association of Connecticut.
A recipient of the Rotary Clubâs Presidentâs Award for Outstanding Service as well as its Paul Harris Award, Ms Ramsey was also recognized with the Peter T. White Award from the United Way, The Outstanding Leadership Award from Regional Hospice, the 2003 Greater Danbury Good Scout Award from the Boy Scouts of America, and the 2005 Friends & Family Recognition from Family Counseling Center.
