Laura Susan Bannon to Mark J. Gravel

Mr and Mrs G. Christopher Bannon announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Susan, to Mark Joseph Gravel, son of Mrs Shirley Gravel of Watertown and Mr Albert Gravel, Jr, of Elmwood Park, N.J.

The future bride is a graduate of Southern Connecticut State University with a bachelor’s degree in therapeutic recreation. She is employed at the Hamden Health Care Center as a recreational therapist.

The future groom is a field artillery officer in the Connecticut National Guard. He attended Central Connecticut State University and is currently employed as a technical service representative at Laticrete International in Bethany.

An August wedding is planned.
