Muriel (Person) Frank, 87, of Naugatuck, died February 25, at her home. She was the sister of Raymond Person of Newtown.
Mrs Frank was born on February 6, 1925, in Newtown, a daughter of the Anna and Oscar Person. She was a member of Seymour Congregational Church and an avid homemaker. A longtime member of the Seymour Grange, she loved to knit and crochet and enjoyed NASCAR racing, especially the Daytona 500.
She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.
In addition to her brother and his wife Judy, Mrs Frank is survived by another brother, Eric Person of Fairfield; two daughters and their husbands, a daughter-in-law, her former husband, five grandchildren, a great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs Frank was predeceased by her sons Glenn and Wayne Frank, and a brother, Roland Person.
Funeral services took place on March 2 in the chapel of Miller-Ward Funeral Home in Seymour, with the Reverend Greg Dawson, pastor of Seymour Congregational Church, officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
