Raised In Newtown

Michelle Louise Meyers, 46, of Naugatuck died at her home on February 6.

She was born in Bridgeport, the oldest of three children of the late Hazel (Armstrong) and George W. Meyers, Jr. Michelle was raised in Newtown and was a lifelong Connecticut resident.

She is survived by a brother, George W. Meyers III of Waterbury, and a sister, Heather A. Yarberry of Guyton, Ga.; and two nieces and a nephew.

A graveside service was held Wednesday, March 7, at St Rose Cemetery in Sandy Hook.

Arrangements were handled by Honan Funeral Home, Newtown.
