For Artists

KENT — The Gallery at Kent Art Association invites all artists to enter “Member Show I,” which will open the association’s 89th season. The show will run from Sunday, March 25, until Sunday, April 22.

Receiving will take place at The Gallery at the Kent Art Association, 21 South Main Street (Route 7, just south of the monument), on Saturday, March 24, from 11 am to 2 pm.  Artists may join at receiving.

All work must be original and for sale. A copy of the prospectus can be found at www.kentart.org.

Prior to receiving, noted Artist Scott Bricher will be doing a critique of members work.  Critiques are limited to paid members and only one image per member is allowed.

The show is being chaired by Virginia Schaffer, with co-chair is Alexis Lynch.

The show will open with a reception on Sunday, March 25, from 1 to 5 pm. An awards reception is scheduled for Saturday, March 31, from 2 to 4 pm, with awards presented at 3. Five $100 awards of excellence will be awarded. The Judges for “Members Show I” are Carolyn Edlund, Laura Wilk and Danielle Langford.
