Or Money?

To the Editor:

Regarding the recent article about liquor stores being open on Sundays [“Local Retailers Brace For Reform of Liquor Laws,” Bee, 3/2/12] and the comment made by Carlos Goncalves saying that if he had to open his store on Sunday it would take him away from his family and church services.

What a ridiculous statement to make. If he was truly concerned about spending time with his family and spending a little time with God, he would not even consider opening his liquor store on Sunday. What is more important, Mr Goncalves, your family and God, or your sinful greed for money?
