Anne (DeFederico) Luzi, 91, beloved wife of the late Armand J. Luzi, Sr, died February 29, at the Hospital of Central Connecticut, Southington Campus. She was born July 16, 1920, to Lucia (Tommaro) and Guiseppe DeFederico.
Mrs Luzi was a devoted mother to two caring and lovely children, including Marilyn, and her husband Richard Gingras, of Newtown. Three grandchildren; a recent arrival, her treasured great-granddaughter; and two special godchildren also survive Mrs Luzi.Â
She was a resident of Bristol all of her life. Prior to her retirement in 1984 she was employed at General Electric Co. of Plainville for 21 years.Â
Mrs Luzi was a member of St Anthony Church, Bristol, and enjoyed going to the Connecticut Stroke Club meetings weekly where she made many friends. She also enjoyed UConn womenâs basketball, crossword puzzles, reading, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, and especially being with her grandchildren.Â
Funeral services took place March 3. Burial was in St Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
