Stress Reduction Through Meditation
BRIDGEPORT â St Vincentâs Medical Center is offering a series of âStress Reduction Through Meditationâ classes for the community every Thursday from 7 to 8 pm beginning on March 9 in the Level 8 Education and Training Center of St Vincentâs.
Participants will learn to reduce stress, relax, and gain mental awareness through guided meditation, and simple mindfulness techniques.
According to instructor Fran Palumbo, âMeditation is the art of quieting the mind and being still. It is one of the most powerful gifts you can ever give yourself.â
The fee is $12 per class, and participants need not attend the entire series.
