ELLIN POLLACHEK’S PHOTOGRAPHY AT DEBORAH DAVIS FINE ART

Ak/gs set 6/4 #741546

HUDSON, N.Y. — Deborah Davis Fine Art, Inc, at 510 Warren Street, is exhibiting the photographs of Ellin Ronee Pollachek through Monday, July 7, in a show titled “From Seed to Soul.”

“From Seed to Soul” is Pollachek’s interpretation of a moment in the life of a flower. With the exception of the calla lily, all of the flowers in the show can be found in the gardens around Pollachek’s Catskill home.

According to the artist, the images in this show are a thank-you note of sorts to the flowers that enrich her creativity and bring joy to her soul. The images are archival pigment prints in editions of ten.

Pollachek lives in Manhattan and the Catskills and has studied photography at the International Center of Photography (ICP), New School for Social Research and the Main Photographic Workshops. She has a PhD in transgressive literature and photography from New York University.

Pollachek’s photographs have appeared on the pages of Soma (Indian) Avenue, India Today, Travel/Holiday, Modern Bride, The Robb Report, Inside Out (Australian) and others. Pollachek’s photography has been displayed by Air India, the Indian Consulate in Rockefeller Center and The Creative Center in Manhattan.
