Newtown resident Azureen Janelle Erdman, a freshman at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, has been named to the Dean’s List/Honor Roll for the fall semester of the 2007-08 academic year. Azureen is majoring in animal science.

Seth C. Hull of Newtown has earned Faculty Honors at Trinity College in Hartford for the 2007 fall semester.

Sacred Heart University in Fairfield has announced that Robert Licata of Newtown is among those named to the university’s fall 2007 Dean’s List.

Newtown residents Alfred C. Mancuso and Timothy D. Murtha have been named to the 2007 fall Dean’s List at Boston University. Sandy Hook residents Jacqueline L. Gutbrod and Ronald P. Shimko were also named to BU’s Dean’s List.

Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I., has released its Dean’s List for the fall 2007 semester. Included from Newtown were freshman Samantha Ciaccia, a communications major; sophomore Alyssa Schankman, an English literature and elementary education major; and sophomore Michelle Steuer, an anthropology/sociology and elementary education major. Also named was freshman Tricia Reed, an undeclared liberal arts major from Sandy Hook.

Freshman Nicole Nonnenmacher and sophomores Craig Baldino and Megan Meier, all of Newtown, have been named to the Principal’s Honor Roll for the second marking period at St Joseph High School in Trumbull.

Jina M Willie and Alex M. Snow of Newtown have been named to the Dean’s List for the fall semester 2007 at Western New England College. Ms Willie is majoring in accounting. Mr Snow is majoring in information technology.

Jennifer A. Chuddy of Newtown, and Laurel A. Bobel and Alison L. Boyle, both of Sandy Hook, graduated from the University of New Haven during winter commencement held January 19. Ms Chuddy received a master of science in cellular and molecular biology. Ms Bobel graduated with a master of arts in industrial organizational psychology. Ms Boyle graduated with a master of science in education.
