Among the openings are Computers For The Beginners on Mondays, March 3, 10 and 17, from 6:30 to 9:30 pm, course fee is $89; and Internet Marketing Made Easy, which will meet on Thursday, March 20, from 7 to 8 pm. Cost is $29 and the session will be led by Joanne Marcinek, owner of Ask Joanne, a business devoted to helping business owners understand and make the best use of their Internet.
Sewing for the Sometime Sewer will meet for eight Thursdays beginning March 13, each week from 6:30 to 8:30 pm; cost is $104.
Tatting is Knot A Lost Art will meet Wednesdays, March 12 and 19, from 7 to 8:30 pm; cost is $54.
Finally, enjoy learning a new language in a relaxing atmosphere taught by a native teacher. These courses give the students the opportunity to become familiar with the language and the culture, with an emphasis on oral expression and comprehension.
Classes are taught by experts at Linguataal International, and each meets seven times. There is a $149 fee for each class. Choose from Spanish, French, Arabic, German, Mandarin Chinese, Portuguese or Russian, and students can choose beginner or intermediate (meets Tuesdays) or advanced level (meets Wednesdays). Classes are held at Newtown High School.
