Kenneth L. Bigham, 78, of Oxford, died March 6 following a brief illness. Mr Bigham and his wife, Barbara, had previously lived in Newtown for 40 years.

He is also survived by two sons, Steven and Douglas; a daughter, Kathy; and six grandchildren.

Friends may call on the family Monday, March 10, between 4 and 7 pm, at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street in Newtown.

A memorial service is planned for Tuesday, March 11, at 11 am, at Newtown Congregational Church, 14 West Street.
