NORWALK — Businesspeople need to be equipped to separate hype from reality in the current clutter of media opportunities, as well as understanding digital media, what is effective and what it costs. The Entrepreneurial Woman’s Network (EWN) will host The Fortex Group owner Ephraim Cohen, who plans to share information and tools on the current media landscape and how everything fits together for businesses. 

The talk will take place from noon to 2 pm, Wednesday, March 11, at the Norwalk Inn & Conference Center, 99 East Avenue.

Attendees can learn about the right media and tools that fit various marketing objectives, and how to use them to promote their business. Mr Cohen will give attendees an overview to help sort through the multitude of media choices and the most effective way to deliver an individual’s business message. 

He will review how everything fits together — from TV/radio/newspapers to web video and audio, blogs, Twitter, social networking, forums, and more. 

Anyone interested in attending can prepay reservations, $32 for members and $40 for nonmembers.  Reservations are accepted on a “space available basis” and must be made online at www.ewn-ct.org.
