Amber Ruscoe of Sandy Hook was on the Dean’s List at New England College in Henniker, N.H., for the fall 2008 semester.

Megan K. Rogers of Sandy Hook was named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2008 semester at Juniata College in Huntingdon, Penn., where she is a junior studying elementary and special education.

Sarah S. Holroyd was named to second honors on the Clark University, in Worcester, Mass., for the fall 2008 semester. To be eligible for second honors students must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and a maximum of 4.3.

Jina M. Willie, Alex M. Snow, Robert C. Lapple, and Rachel A. Marlin were named to the Dean’s List at Western New England College, in Springfield, Mass., for the fall 2008 semester. Students are named to the Dean’s List for achieving a semester grade point average of 3.30 or higher.

Mariale Renna earned honors for the fall 2008 semester’s Dean’s List at Skidmore College, in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. To earn honors on the Skidmore College Dean’s List students must earn a grade point average between 3.4 and 3.669.

Sondra Alagna and Christian Del Rossi of Sandy Hook were named to the Dean’s List at the University of New Haven for the fall 2008 semester. Full time undergraduate students must have a 3.5 or more cumulative grade point average to be eligible for the Dean’s List.

Margaret Riley was inducted into Ithaca’s College’s Oracle Honor Society in November. Ithaca (N.Y.) College’s fall ceremony honors students who have completed their first semester ranked in the top five percent of their academic schools, and Margaret is a student in the college’s School of Humanities and Sciences.

Genevieve Marie Santayana of Sandy Hook was named to the fall 2008 semester’s Dean’s List at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Selection for this award is based on completing and passing all assigned courses with no grade below a C, and attaining an academic average of at least 3.4 for courses taken in the semester.
