KAA Issues Call For Artists 

KENT — The Gallery at Kent Art Association invites all artists to enter the annual KAA Member Show I, which will offer representational and non-representational work from Sunday, March 13, until Sunday, April 10.

Receiving will take place at the gallery, 21 South Main Street (just south of the monument in the center of town), on Saturday, March 12, from 11 am to 2 pm.  All work must be original and for sale, and artists may enter up to two works.

The show is co-chaired by Barbara Ripps and Virginia Schaeffer, and will be judged by Patricia Billeci, Mireille Duchesne and Jay Pinchbeck. Five $100 awards of excellence will be awarded.

The show will open on Sunday, March 13, with a reception from 1 to 5 pm. The Awards Reception is scheduled for Saturday, March 19, from 2 to 4 pm, with awards to be presented at 3. Refreshments will be served and the public is invited to attend.
