Who Designs Stamps

DANBURY — As part of its ongoing Master of Fine Arts Lecture Series, Western CT State University will host a special lecture by Dennis Lyall this month.

The award-winning artist and illustrator boasts a career of more than 37 years. During that time Mr Lyall has painted for many of the country’s largest and most successful advertisers and publishers. The US Postal Service has also issued 34 stamps he has designed, including some in the “Celebrate The Century” series.

Mr Lyall’s lecture will be Tuesday, March 8, at 11 am. He will be in WCSU’s White Hall Viewing Room 1.
