Marsha A.         Willette

Marsha A. (Skirkanich) Willette, 52, of Stafford Street in Waterbury, died suddenly February 23 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the wife of Philip Willette.

In addition to her husband, Mrs Willette is survived by a sister, Carol Lockwood of Sandy Hook; her daughter, Phylicia Willette of Waterbury; two brothers, Michael Skirkanich and Robert Skirkanich, both of Waterbury. She also leaves a sister-in-law, Edith, and a brother-in-law, George Lockwood, and several nieces and nephews. A brother, George Skirkanich is deceased.

Mrs Willette was born on May 17, 1952, in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Michael and Hazel (Steinert) Skirkanich. She attended local schools and was employed by the City of Waterbury as a food service employee at Chase School.

Mrs Willette was active in her favorite bowling league and was fond of going to the beach in the summer. Most of all, she was a dedicated mother, wife, and sister.

Funeral service for Mrs Willette was held February 26 at the Casey-O’Donnell Family Funeral Home, Waterbury, with a Mass of Christian Burial at Sts Peter and Paul Church, Waterbury. Burial followed at Calvary Cemetery.
