The Business and Professional Women of Newtown will present a program on feng shui at the organizationâs March 7 meeting at The Homesteads at Newtown, 166 Mt Pleasant Road.
Amy Mims, certified feng shui practitioner, holds a bachelorâs degree in occupational therapy from the University of Pennsylvania and a masterâs degree in applied social research from Hahnemann Medical College. She is co-director of The New England School of Feng Shui, featuring a world-renown faculty and an extensive array of workshops.
As a feng shui practitioner, Amy Mims incorporates the elements of harmonious design with a process that empowers clients to manifest their goals. She teaches classes on feng shui and conducts consultations for home and business environments. She works with architects, interior designers, and landscape professionals in the creation of wonderful spaces.
The meeting at The Homesteads will begin with networking at 6 pm. Dinner, a buffet, will be at 6:30. Reservations are required by Friday, March 4; call Kelly Urso, 364-1667. The cost for the dinner and program will be $25.
The Newtown Business and Professional Womenâs Club is a nonprofit organization that promotes the interests of business and professional women, providing them with an opportunity for networking.
