Antoinette M.   Van Tassell

Antoinette M. (Pavia) Van Tassell, 71, of Bridgeport, the beloved wife of the late Raymond J. Van Tassell, Jr, died February 23 at St Vincent’s Medical Center, Bridgeport.

Survivors include her beloved son, Jerry Van Tassell of Newtown; one brother, Nick Pavia of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

Born in Bridgeport on December 31, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Nicola and Adaline (Marra) Pavia, and was a lifelong Bridgeport resident.

The funeral was held on February 26 in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, Bridgeport, and in St Augustine Cathedral, Bridgeport. Interment was in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
