Melissa Moran Goodrich and Daniel Robert Germain, Jr

Eileen and Don Goodrich of Bethel announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Moran Goodrich, and Daniel Robert Germain, Jr, son of Cherie and Dan Germain of Newtown.

Ms Goodrich is a 2000 graduate of Bethel High School and received her bachelor of arts from Elon University. She is an English teacher at Hendersonville High School in Hendersonville, N.C.

Mr Germain graduated from Newtown High School in 1999 and attended the University of Hartford. He is self-employed as a real estate investor in North Carolina.

A July 2006 wedding is planned.
