CROMWELL â The Food Allergy Association of Connecticut, a nonprofit charitable organization, is hosting the Food Allergy in Schools Summit, Striking a Balance, on Saturday, March 25. The event will take place from 8 am to 1 pm at the Cromwell Courtyard by Marriot.
The summit provides guidance to parents, school personnel, and medical professionals about the requirements of the Connecticut State Department of Education highlighting the guidelines to managing life-threatening food allergies in Connecticut schools.
Parents, school personnel, and medical professionals are invited to register for this interactive forum to discuss the impact the guidelines will have on every school in the state and practical strategies school communities can use for developing their own guidelines as required by Public Act 05-104.
