Check out the Library of Congress collection of baseball cards from 1887 through 1914. The cards show such legendary players as Ty Cobb, Tris Speaker, Cy Young, Walter Johnson, King Kelly and Christy Mathewson and the granddaddy of all baseball managers, Connie Mack. The collection of cards, originally owned by collector Benjamin K. Edwards and numbering around 12,000, were donated to the Library of Congress in 1954.
