Caroline’s Gift

To The Editor:

We’d like to thank all those who have so generously donated to Caroline’s Gift, a fund that was established three years ago to aid Newtown families coping with the double burden of caring for a sick or disabled child and contending with financial need. The overwhelming response of our Newtown neighbors has ensured the existence of Caroline’s Gift as an important charitable resource in our community. This year the fund was able to make a gift of $1,000 to the financially needy family of a disabled child.

Caroline’s Gift has been exceptionally fortunate in having Newtown Youth Service’s assistance in administering the fund and identifying each year’s beneficiary. We are especially grateful to Anita Arnold of Newtown Youth Services for all her hard work and dedication.

To all who have helped make Caroline’s Gift a fund that makes a difference, our deepest thanks.
