JoAnn Campbell Bourgeois

Committed To Family And Friends

JoAnn Campbell Bourgeois, 50, of Newtown, died unexpectedly at home February 23. She was the loving wife of Robert Bourgeois and the devoted mother of Nicholas. She was born in Sharon, to John F. and Angelina (Maiorani) Campbell of Millerton, N.Y.

Ms Bourgeois was a graduate of Manhattanville College and had been employed at several local companies, including Olin Corporation, Purdue Pharma, and most recently at XL Global Services as assistant vice president.

 She expressed her love for music and theater by performing in community theater and later choreographed many local productions. In addition, she was a member of St Mary’s Church Choir in Bethel. After Nicholas was born, she channeled her energies and love into raising her son.

Ms Bourgeois is survived by her husband and son; a sister, Jean; a brother, John; her father, John; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her mother predeceased Ms Bourgeois.

All that knew her will miss her love, commitment, intelligence, and generosity to her family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St Mary’s Church in Bethel February 28.
