The 2020 TCS New York City Marathon Charity Program has selected the CMAK (Chase Michael-Anthony Kowalski) Sandy Hook Memorial Foundation as an official charity partner. Founded in remembrance of Chase Kowalski, the CMAK mission inspires community healing through family and children-focused initiatives including the Race4Chase youth triathlon training program.

As part of the 2020 TCS New York City Marathon Charity Program, the CMAK Foundation will receive five entries into the 2020 TCS New York City Marathon. CMAK will provide these entries to athletes who commit to raising a minimum of $2,500 for the foundation. More details on how to apply to be on the Race4Chase team may be found at cmakfoundation.org.

CMAK Foundation Executive Director Kevin Grimes explained that partnering with the 2020 TCS New York City Marathon Charity Program has been both a humbling and inspiring experience.

“We are thrilled to share this opportunity with our CMAK Foundation supporters. Chase was a seven-year-old who loved nothing more than running. Our partnership with the 2020 TCS New York City Marathon is such a fitting tribute to Chase’s life and we thank them for the chance to honor his legacy in this manner," Grimes said.
