LAKERS 67, TARHEELS 52: Mike Sciaretto scored 23 points and Mike Terry added 17 to lead the Lakers over the Tarheels. Tom Malloy pulled down 21 rebounds as Brad Bernstein and John Modzelewski played well. For the âHeels, Matt McCarthy scored 20 points and grabbed 20 rebounds and Tom OâToole added 16 points. Tony Napoleone, Dave Clancy and Scott Walrath all had good games.
INDIANS 70, DAWG POUND 65: Dave Roodhuyzen scored 28 points and Mark Werbeck grabbed 12 rebounds as the Indians defeated the Dawg Pound despite an incredible 49-point effort from Nate Gaines. Mason and Tokarski also played well for the Indians. For the Dawgs, Meisel granned 28 rebounds.
SHAOLIN 47, STRIKERS 45: Chris Arnold canned 25 points and Geoff Brennan pulled down 18 rebounds as Shaolin clipped the Strikers. Mike Sobo had 11 assists and Sean Walsh made 12 steals to lead the way. For the Strikers, Pat Souza had 38 points while Kurt Kling, Chris Perry and Dan Raymond all played well.
BLUE JAYS 53, MUG WUMPS 50: Erik Martenson scored 28 points as the Blue Jays trimmed the Mug Wumps. Dane Iovino dished off 12 assists while Dan Maley had five steals and Brian Hamilton grabbed 10 rebounds. Greg Williams, Chris Darigo and Todd Palo pulled in solid efforts. For the Wumps, Tony Schick had 14 points and led the attack all across the floor.
T-BLAZERS 63, VIOLATORS 48: Matt Saunders had 25 points and Les Russell added 21 as the T-Blazers rolled. Keith Neidig had eight rebounds. For the Violators, Carolan scored 13 points while Tatake and Chimilesky had good games.
DAWG POUND 57, BRICKLAYERS 50: John Werbeck scored 21 points and Bruan Budnick dished off 10 assists to lead the Dawg Pound to the win. For the Bricklayers, Taylor Gunn canned 18 points.

BAD NEWS BEARS 45, PURPLE HAZE 41: Caitlin Collier scored 14 points while Cathy Byrne and Becky McCullough combined for 14 points to lead the Bad News Bears to the win. Meghan Byrne was strong on defense and added four points. Amanda Maldonado also had four points. For the Haze, Danielle Saputo, Anna Lewis, Nicole Hamilton and Laurie Manion all played well.
RUFF RYDERS 57, THUGS 36: Caitlyn Lynch scored 13 points as the Ruff Ryders rolled. Jamie Cavanaugh and Lindsay Moore also played well. âOur team effort was immense,â said coaches. âEveryone contributed to put this game to rest.â For the Thugs, Kate Bouteiller and Caitlin Martin scored seven points apiece while Michelle Nelson dished off five assists.
PINK POWER 37, GOLDENEYE 23: Colleen Davis scored 20 points and made five steals to lead Pink Power to the win. Megan Critelli grabbed six boards. For Goldeneye, Liz Kochuba and Jen Dorenbosch scored six points apiece. Ashleigh Smarella was solid on offense.
PURPLE HAZE 40, THUGS 34: Katie Miller scored 14 points (with four three-pointers) and Danielle Saputo dished off nine assists to lead the Purple Haze to the win. Nicole Hamilton, Jessica Ward and Rabiya Ansari all had good games. For the Thugs, Kate Bouteiller scored 11 points while Michelle Nelson dished off six assists and Elana Tennebaum pulled down eight rebounds.
PINK POWER 43, BAD NEWS BEARS 28: Laura Willing scored 18 points and Megan Critelli added 13 more to lead Pink Power to the win. Kaitlin Barry had five assists, Angela Shannon had six steals, and Colleen Davis grabbed eight rebounds. For the Bears, Lorraine Narel had 14 points while Becky McCullough had six assists. Amanda Maldonado and Janie Zingoni played excellent defense.
RUFF RYDERS 40: GOLDENEYE 35: Whitney Blanchard canned 16 points to lead the Ruff Ryders to the win. For Goldeneye, Liz Kochuba scored 11 points and Jamie Lindquist tossed in seven. Carrie Young shined on defense.
