BOYS 8TH GRADE TRAVEL

 

NEWTOWN 63, WESTON 42: Andrew Fiscella scored 16 points and Dave Anderson tossed in 15 to lead Newtown to the win. Devon Manfredonia chipped in with 10 points and five steals while Matt McFadden was solid on defense, fueling Newtown’s full-court press and causing numerous turnovers. McFadden also controbited seven points and three steals while Ross Coates added eight points and five rebounds.

NEWTOWN 54, NEW FAIRFIELD 46: Andrew Fiscella scored 23 points and Ronnie Shimko added 14 as Newtown avenged an earlier one-point loss to New Fairfield on a last-second shot. Matt McFadden had a team-high six rebounds while Fiscella chipped in with five rebounds and three steals.

BOYS 6TH GRADE TRAVEL

 

NEWTOWN 62, NEW MILFORD 23: Chris Giorno scored 12 points to lead Newtown to an easy win over New Milford. Tommy Wilson added nine points while Jack Capito added eight. Drew Harmata had six points and 12 rebounds in a solid floor game. Stephen Neylon and Drew Adamek combined for eight assists. Caruso and Neylon were the defensive standouts.

WESTON 54, NEWTOWN 32: Marc Ingerman scored 12 points and Drew Harmata added eight (with 10 rebounds) to lead Newtown in the loss. Josh Tenenbaum grabbed eight boards and had several blocked shots.
