Upcoming Discovery Science Workshops

The Newtown Junior Women’s Club will be holding its 16th Discovery Science Workshops at the Newtown High School Saturday, March 28, from 8:30 am until noon.

The program is free and open to all Newtown students in kindergarten through fourth grade. Students who participate will learn how to solve a crime with a forensic detective, make plastic gak, straighten teeth, or see a police dog in action.  

Orange brochures went home with children  recently. Fill out the registration form inside the brochure with your two class choices and mail it in by February 27, or for more information contact Laurie Brautigam at 426-8184.
