Daniel Michael Toth, 43, of Newtown, beloved husband of Lisa Beth Toth, and much-adored father to Janyce, Ally, and Rayna Toth, died unexpectedly February 23. He was the son of the late Roberta and Michael Toth of Newtown.www.spadaccinofuneralhome.comA Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, March 1, at 10 am, at St Rose of Lima Church, 46 Church Hill Road, Newtown. Friends and Family may call at the Spadaccino and Leo P Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Monroe, on Monday, February 29, from 4 to 8 pm. In addition to his wife and children, brothers and their wives, Michael and Christine of Maine, Stephen of Maine, Robert and Maria of Danbury, and David and Lauren of New Milford; father-in-law Raymond Battaglia, and partner Jackie Carnevalla; brother-in-law Raymond Battaglia, and wife Dina; and numerous nieces and nephews who adored their Uncle Dan survive Mr Toth.

He was a member of St Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Newtown, and was employed at William Raveis in Shelton.

His love and commitment to his family and daughters was endless, and he was well known as an incredibly devoted father who on any given day could be found cheering madly on the sideline of a local soccer field or smiling proudly in the audience of his daughters' dance competitions. His tremendous spirit could fill any space, and his smile would literally light up a room.

Mr Toth's passion for life was shared with everyone he encountered, and his infectious laughter would soften even the toughest situation. Always to be the first to offer help in any situation, he was known to be right there at one's side, no matter the circumstance. Much of his joy was a result of his cherished friendships from his co-workers, whom he always considered his extended family. The Raveis family will forever be an intimate part of Mr Toth's legacy.
