PABLO PICASSO RESEARCHER TALK AT LACMA MARCH 3

AVV 2-20 #729585

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. — The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) will present a discussion and book signing on Monday, March 3, at 7 pm in the Leo S. Bing Theater with British-born art historian John Richardson.

Richardson has devoted his career to researching and writing about artists whose work changed the way one looks at the world. For more than two decades, he has been at work on a multi-volume biography of Pablo Picasso.

To mark the release of volume three of that series, and to celebrate the recent gift to LACMA of more than two dozen works by the Spanish artist, Richardson joins LACMA curators Stephanie Barron and Kevin Salatino to discuss Picasso’s life. Richardson will sign copies of A Life of Picasso: The Triumphant Years, 1917–1932 following the presentation.

The program is free, no reservations required. LACMA is at 5905 Wilshire Boulevard. For information, 323-857-6000 or www.lacma.org.
