Feeling Helpless?

To the Editor:

Would it surprise you to learn that President Obama does not meet regularly with his cabinet? As reported by MSNBC, Obama has never met with at least six of his Cabinet members in the last two years! So who is Obama meeting with and listening to? Well, until Obamacare got rammed through, the most frequent visitor was Andy Stern, the leader of SEIU [Service Employees International Union]. But Stern doesn’t have to have the ear of the president anymore, since Obamacare has been passed. No, now the frequent visitor is the “honorable” David Trumpka, the leader of the AFL-CIO! Watch Trumpka, himself, reporting the two to three times per week in-person meetings with Obama, and daily phone calls with the White House, at theblaze.com. And Trumpka is everywhere! He is in Egypt trying to drum up support for his, and Obama’s, vision of “workers of the world unite.” You have heard of global this, and global that... Well, it sure looks like a set-up of a “world plan”... And these people are saying this openly.

Maybe people still think things are going to be ok, that it will all work out. I’d like to think that too. But when you look at things that are proved to be happening, it sure looks like we are headed someplace that I, for one, do not want to go! How about you? Do you think the mess in the Middle East, Northern Africa, Greece, etc, can’t affect us way over here? Who would think that Wisconsin teachers, supported by Trumpka and others, would skip school and stage a protest against the governor, with violent rhetoric on signs? What about the next state, and the one after that? And who would have thought that a bunch of Democratic state senators would flee from the state to disrupt a vote they didn’t like? Can’t happen here, right? Malloy’s budget “balances” with two-thirds new taxes and one-third unspecified “givebacks” by government employees. Anyone can balance the budget with other people’s money! How about cutting two-thirds, and raising taxes as a last resort, not the first!

 I guess that is why Democrats are known as the “tax and spend” party. Feeling a little helpless? Yeah, me too.

Just stay informed. Find a truthful source for information, and stick with that. We shall see.
