Gracious And Loving

Dale Susan Stewart, 57, of New Milford, died February 19, after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Bridgeport, the daughter of Grace and George Stewart.

She graduated from Newtown High School, and worked for many years at the Risdon Company in Danbury.

Ms Stewart not once hesitated to help anyone in need. She was a “Guardian Angel” for all animals. She was truly gracious and loving till the end.

Dale is survived by her mother, two sisters, and several other relatives. She was predeceased by her father and a brother.

Calling hours will be held at Lillis Funeral Home, 58 Bridge Street, New Milford, Saturday, February 26, from 2 to 5 pm, with a short service at 4:30 pm. A memorial service will be held at St Mark’s Episcopal Church in Bridgewater, later in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Mark’s Episcopal Church, 5 Main Street South, Bridgewater CT 06752.
