Hearing Loss

The Newtown Visiting Nurse Association is sponsoring a program on hearing, hearing loss, tinnitus, and other hearing-related issues at the St Rose of Lima Parish Hall, 46 Church Hill Road, from 1 pm to 2:30 pm, on Thursday, March 3.

Carol Maksimow, audioprosthologist and director of Hearing Aid Specialists of Connecticut, will give this presentation She will explain how hearing loss affects daily living for those who are experiencing hearing difficulties, tinnitus, or hearing or hearing-aid related issues.

Ms Maksimow is a graduate of Fairfield University and a state-licensed hearing instrument specialist, board-certified in hearing instrument sciences (BC-HIS). She received her master certification in audioprosthology.

Her practice is at 4 Tuttle Road in Southbury.
